2011 White House Christmas Ornament (front)

Front of ornament

When Theodore Roosevelt became president in 1901 his six children ranged in age from four to 17. It was the first time in many years that young children had inhabited the executive mansion. This year’s official White House ornament captures the excitement this young family brought to the White House Christmas celebrations.

On the front of the ornament is a color illustration, based on a political cartoon, showing a jolly Santa Claus arriving at the White House with the words “I hear there are some kids in the White House this year.” The reverse shows the entire Roosevelt family gathered around the Christmas tree to see what Santa has brought them.

This cheerful ornament will remind you of the childlike joy of the holidays! Hurry in to buy yours today.

Retails for $21.95.
