JMM houses a collection of 114 political cartoons dating from the 1890s to the 1960s. Students of UMW’s digital history course this past semester (Spring 2012) created an excellent online gallery for display of the cartoons. The site organizes the cartoons by subject and compiles them into mini-exhibits. Visitors can also learn about the artists who created these cartoons.
